Taposh Barua
Taposh Barua is an experienced development professional with 23 years of hands-on experience in capacity development, project/ programme management, advocacy and partnership management. He worked in a range of thematic areas and with diverse stakeholders at home and abroad.
Taposh’s employers include Ethical Trading Initiative (ETI) (2020 – till date), British Council (2016 – 2020), United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) (2010 -2015), United Nations-African Union Mission in Darfur (UNAMID) (2008 – 2010), Institutional Development Services Linkage (IDSL) (2005-2008), South Asia Partnership (SAP) Bangladesh (2003-2005), Communica (2001-2003) and Mass Line Media Centre (MMC) (2000-2001).
He obtained Master of Development Studies (MDS) from BRAC University in Bangladesh and BA (Hons) MA in Mass Communication and Journalism from Dhaka University in Bangladesh. He is a Certified Training Professional (CTP) awarded by ARTDO International and ITD, Malaysia.
