Assistant Officer- MEL
Kazi Akib Hassan is currently the Assistant Officer- MEL at the Ethical Trading Initiative (ETI) in Bangladesh since April 2023. In this capacity, he plays a vital role in developing and executing MEAL activities. Akib initially joined ETI as an intern in 2022. Prior to his time with ETI Bangladesh, Akib completed an internship with the Ministry of Disaster Management and Relief, gaining hands-on experience in disaster risk reduction planning, data analysis, and monitoring and evaluation procedures. He holds both Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Disaster Management from the University of Dhaka. His skills encompass survey design and analysis, report writing, and the use of tools such as IBM SPSS, ODK platforms (like Kobo toolbox/Survey CTO).
