Abil Bin Amin

Abil Bin Amin has over 13 years’ experience in the development sector, currently leading the ETI Bangladesh team with overall responsibility for the implementation and delivery of ETI’s strategy. Prior to ETI, Abil was the Bangladesh Country Representative for the Business for Social Responsibility (BSR) HERproject, a global collaborative programme between civil society and the private sector striving to empower low-income women in global supply chains. There he led the delivery of all Bangladesh projects, whilst providing strategic direction to the global programme.

Abil achieved a master’s degree in Accounting & Finance from Cardiff University, UK, before starting his career in the development sector working with both the private and NGO sector where he has successfully delivered projects spanning women’s empowerment; financial inclusion; SME development and environmental issues. He is deeply passionate about enabling positive change for the people of Bangladesh via the promotion of ethical business practise, gender equality and sustainable economic development.
