Farjana Yasmin is a dedicated professional with over ten years of experience in the Ready-Made Garment (RMG) sector, specializing in environmental sustainability. She previously served as a Senior Assistant Secretary at Bangladesh Knitwear Manufacturers and Exporters Association (BKMEA). Farjana has expertise on Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) certification helping to reduce GHG emission, energy, water and waste and promote Resource Efficient Cleaner Production (RECP).

Farjana then joined BUILD, a public-private dialogue platform, as a Senior Research Associate and core member of the Sustainable Green Growth Working Committee. In this role, she worked closely with government and private sector representatives to promote policies and initiatives that drive sustainable green growth. Farjana also has a strong research background and has published work on industry environmental sustainability in international journals, reflecting her commitment to advancing knowledge and practices in this field.

She obtained post-graduation degree in Geography and Environment from Eden Mohila College under National University, Bangladesh.
