Kazi Akib Hassan

Kazi Akib Hassan is a Senior Programme Officer, Monitoring, Evaluation, and Learning (MEL) at Ethical Trading Initiative (ETI) Bangladesh. He has over four years of experience in monitoring, evaluation, research, and programme management.
His work includes project monitoring, survey design, data analysis, knowledge management, learning consolidation, donor reporting, and research coordination. He also contributes to programme development by generating evidence that supports project design and decision-making.
Akib began his journey with ETI Bangladesh in June 2022 as an intern in the MEAL Unit and has progressed through the organisation to his current role. Before joining ETI, he interned at the Ministry of Disaster Management and Relief, where he gained hands-on experience in disaster risk reduction planning and the monitoring and evaluation of government projects focused on disaster and climate change risk mitigation. He holds Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Disaster Management from the University of Dhaka.
