Nafiz Mahmud Ayon
Nafiz has more than 10 years of experience in the development sector, specializing in project cycle management, capacity building, advocacy, and stakeholder engagement. He currently coordinates programme and related interventions under the Climate Change and Just Transition component at ETI Bangladesh. He is responsible to oversee ETI Bangladesh’s workplace-based Green Social Dialogue pilot programme to promote worker-led climate actions including enhancing environmental sustainability and promoting climate-friendly energy practices in Bangladesh’s RMG sector. Among his other responsibilities are designing and implementation of advocacy initiatives, communication and stakeholder engagement.
Nafiz’s working experiences include different thematic areas, such as migrant workers’ rights (MSIF by UK Government), labor rights of RMG workers (FCDO), gender-sensitive RMG workplace (NORAD), Covid-19 response for RMG workers, health program (DFAT) in collaboration with the Government, maternal and child health project (L’OCCITANE), and eye health for FDMN-Rohingya.
