Priyong Sabastini

Priyong currently works as the Programme Officer responsible for ETI Bangladesh’s sectoral project, titled, “Promoting Just Transition & Environmental Sustainability in the Bangladesh RMG Industry”. Priyong’s journey in the supply-chain began in 2021, where she worked for a joint research collaboration between BRAC University and Kennnesaw State University, which investigated the condition of RMG workers in the pre- and post-Covid scenario. She has since worked in further research projects under BRAC University, including, ETI’s perception survey on Climate Change and Just Transition, where she was responsible for data analysis, collection, communication with stakeholders and overall research coordination.

With a degree in Anthropology from BRAC University and background in supply-chain research, Priyong is able to nuance her work at ETI and coordinate project-specific activities e.g. project planning, learning consolidation, stakeholder communications, research etc. Additionally, with Priyong’s specialisation in writing and research, she is also closely involved in ETI Bangladesh’s programme development.
