Sunjida Khatoon
Sunjida has 15 years of experience in development sector. Her areas of work include human rights, gender, HIV/AIDS, education, health, nutrition, community development, disaster resilience.
In ETI, she leads the implementation of Gender Sensitive Workplace Programme in RMG sector. She works closely with factory-level Sexual Harassment Complaint Committees (SHCCs), Participation Committees (PCs), Trade Unions, factory management and general workers. She is involved in different platforms and networks in the fields of gender and gender-based violence. She takes part in implementing Social Dialogue Programme at RMG workplaces. Her responsibilities include delivering trainings and workshops, advocacy and influencing activities, capturing and documenting project learnings including case studies.
Previously, she worked for Sex Workers Network (SWN) (2007- 2009), Institute of Environment and Development (IED) (2010) and ICDDR, B (2010 – 2016).
Sunjida completed BA (Hons.) MA in Philosophy from Dhaka University and MSS in Public Health from ASA University.
